Acting exams are a great way for your child to get a recognised qualification in the Performing Arts.
Acting Exams develop imagination and creativity, Increase self-confidence, Develop vocal technique, Develop physical stage techniques and Instil an enthusiasm and interest in the theatre.
All students taking acting exams are required to learn lines and practice their monologues/pieces each week. This is vital to doing well in the acting exams.
Junior Acting: (P.4 - P.7)
Students will be entered in for examinations through New Era Academy beginning with Foundation level exams (Grades 1-3)
Senior Acting: (Year 8+)
Students will be entered in for examinations through New Era Academy beginning with Foundation medal and then Intermediate level exams (Grades 4-5) and moving on to the Advanced level exams (Grades 6-8)
Take To The Stage Theatre School does not set the fees for the New Era Academy Exams.
Limited Spaces:
There will be limited spaces in these classes to allow for each student to get 1-1 help and performance experience each week. Please note: You must be a Junior or Youth Theatre member to qualify for a space in these classes.
